Forget Work/Life Balance - Find Your Equilibrium

In today's working world, we are challenged as women to balance our financial, personal and professional lives. This luncheon is focused on giving you some of the tools to help you navigate your river and maintain your equilibrium. Take some time for yourself and join the Newmarket Chamber of Commerce at this annual women's luncheon event on Wednesday, March 4th at Cardinal Golf Club. It will be an afternoon of networking with fellow women, food stations, display tables from local businesses and an informative panel discussion with tips on finding your equilibrium!

In a recent article by Dr. Lisa A. Rossbacher and Dr. Julie Newell, they explained why we should forget about the term "work/balance" and should rather be thinking in terms of creating a "dynamic equilibrium".

Jack Welch, former chairman and CEO of General Electric recently told a group of women executives: "There's no such thing as work/life balance.... [Instead] there are work/life choices, and you make them, and they have consequences." Those choices enable each of us to find and maintain equilibrium.
