Serving women and their families in York Region since 1977, we believe that every woman deserves to feel empowered and live to her full potential. For women who have identified the need and desire for positive change in their lives, Women’s Centre of York Region offers unique programming and services that address a range of circumstances. Our clients are mothers, sisters, aunts, neighbours and co-workers and in some cases may be experiencing significant financial hardship or even violence. One thing our clients share in common is they have identified a deep need and desire for improvement and change in their lives. In a safe and inclusive environment, we welcome each woman and meet her right where she is. Our goal is to fully support each woman on her personal journey of discovery in order that she thrives fully.
